Exiting news! After 154 days, countless tests and procedures, thousands of diaper changes, and too many spells- Chase William Cooper is coming home!! He will be discharged on Wednesday and will join us at Ronald McDonald as we patiently wait for his beautiful sister to be ready. Chase has been without his low flow for a week and has passed his car seat test so as of Wednesday he will officially graduate from Mount Sinai! We have long awaited this day, and though it is bittersweet that Reilly won't be with us, it is a giant step towards the end of this incredible journey. Chase has been so loved at Mount Sinai- he has been blessed with amazing primary nurses- Amanda, Mercia and Anna and many Tita's - and we are forever grateful for the love he has been given. The next few days will definitely be an adjustment but we are so excited to have him with us. We will be with Reilly each day and at Ronald McDonald through the night. She will hopefully follow soon, or be transferred closer to home but it is so nice to finally feel that we are reaching the end.
Keep us in your thoughts over the next new nights.

It has been way too log since we have blogged. The past month has been a roller coaster- wilder than even the first few months here. The babies are so beautiful and so big- and so needy! They are 46 weeks now which means they are requiring a lot more stimulation and attention. It's amazing how far they have come. We are truly blessed to have two miracles to call our own. They are weighing in over 9 lbs now and are full of energy, personality and attitude. Home is soon, not sure exactly when, but it is in the near future- we can feel it! Here are a few pictures of the past month. Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers. We wouldn't be where we are without them. Xo
